In the previous module, you examined from a historical perspective the development of Freud’s personality theory. You should have selected a theory for your final project and started your research. The research table you were introduced to in the last module will help you in your research for the final project and may be a useful tool in your research career. This module addresses neo-Freudians, the theorists that came after Freud. You will explore how neo-Freudians were influenced by Freud and how his theory has been reinterpreted and expanded upon. As you read through the materials for this module, think about how his theory has changed over time.
