Negotiation and Mediation

Cite two examples (preferably from your experience, but fictional is acceptable) of conflict resolution situations where each of the conflicting parties pursued the following negotiation strategies:

1. Focused on the other conflicting party or other intangible issues
2. Tried to deal directly with the problem or other tangible issues

Be sure to cite two different negotiation strategies: one intangible, one tangible. Discuss the outcomes and analyze the effects and effectiveness of each strategy.
