We had a CEO of our company that we all felt very highly of and we respected him. Our company was responsible for development in major cities. We also helped with the financial side of the development. Our CEO we later found out was taking bribes from very well-known developers. He became greedy and also along with taking bribes he gave himself a raise of a substantial amount without a vote that needed to be done. He had the payroll clerk scared for her job. He was later indicted and fired but this negative publicity stuck around for us and no one wanted to use our firm for several years. We had to down size our company to just two people and we are now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with the pickup of business.
