If public health activities such as grant writing usually requires a large group with different views, it is only common sense to understand that a successful public health initiative would require an interdisciplinary approach. Public health strategies affect such a large group of people that views from people with different expertise is extremely important. For instance, a successful anti- obesity program for children should at the very least include insights from nutritionists, physical activity coach, pediatricians along with public health specialists.
