A suggested text for this course is Hacker and Sommers's A Writer's Reference. This text is considered an excellent writing reference, and it will help you throughout your degree program. However, it is optional and Capella also has writing information available at the Capella Writing Center, linked in the Resources.

You should become familiar with A Writer's Reference if you do purchase it and with the Capella Writing Center as well so you can reference the relevant sections as you work on your assignments.
