It was discussed on how advertising is heavily criticized and scrutinized and how the industry is regulated on so many levels. 

Directions:

- Look at what good the Advertising industry does. Look at the economic role advertising plays, and the societal role advertising  plays. 

- What impact does advertising have on the press and how does this affect our world today.

- Take a look at what was currently happening in the news and the new term "fake news." 

- Has advertising changed over the last 2 decades? If yes, how so? 

- Did advertising change society or did society change advertising and what we advertise and what is acceptable?

- What is advertising's lasting impact on society?

- Did it help shape an social norms?
