Need a 10 minute powerpoint presentation

Due: 10/27/2017 This Friday

- Must include Speaker Notes.

- Must make sure speaker notes aren’t too long, and use simple grammar so I am able to present the powerpoint more efficiently. 

- No specific number of slides just enough to present material. 

This is an oral presentation, however, you should still include research as evidence/proof of your conclusions. These should be properly cited in APA format on each of the slides of the presentation. 

Directions: 

"Take an in-depth look at how the rap genre reflected society:"  

- Was this genre created as a reaction to an event or situation or did this genre reflect society at the time?

- What messages were generated through this type of music? 

- Did it have a cause or a mission?

- Was there an overlying theme behind this music?

- What was going on in history at that time? 

- What happened just before this musical movement started?

- What were the implications/effects of this genre? Show evidence such as photos to prove your point.

- How did music change society and culture?

- Identify important artists of the time. How did they get their start and why? 

- How did they start a movement? Identify major stylistic traits.

- Discuss the role, value, and function of music in society.
