Introduction

This assignment will allow you to use NCFELD to relate classroom activities to Domains, Subdomains, Goals, and Developmental Indicators. 

The Assignment

Use the attached form to relate the given activity to an NCFFELD Domain, Subdomain, Goal, and Developmental Indicator. Complete the entire Form. Provide the entire description including the letter and number appropriate for each Subdomain, Goal, and Developmental.  

For Example:

Activity: Tummy time

Domain: Health and Physical Development (HPD)  

Subdomain: Physical Health and Growth

Goal: Children engage in active physical play indoors and outdoors (HPD-2)

Developmental Indicator: Move their bodies to explore the indoor and outdoor environment. (HPD-2b)

Grading Criteria
0 – 20 points – Form is entirely completed

0 – 20 points – Domain given is appropriate for activity

0 – 20 points – Subdomain given is appropriate for activity

0 – 20 points – Goal given is appropriate for activity 

0 – 20 points – Developmental Indicator given is appropriate for activity
