My leadership style

 

Review the American Nurses Association's resource, “Leadership in Nursing: Qualities & Why It Matters,” which outlines the major nursing leadership styles and when each is most effective.

1. Identify the leadership style that most resonates with you based on your current practice and professional values, and explain why.
2. Analyze your leadership skills in the context of your identified style. Consider how you currently demonstrate this style in your nursing role as a homecare assessment nurse
3. Identify strengths and opportunities for improvement based on your reflection.
4. Create an action plan that capitalizes on your identified strengths and addresses your opportunities for improvement.
