Music Writing

Class welcome back yet again! So, this week - I thought we should have a check in with vocabulary. First, you have this video that is 30 minutes long, so you have plenty of places where you can comment. This is an open-thread week, and that means you can reply to your classmates freely. This week, you are watching one of the members of the Kanneh-Mason family (they are basically British genius musician kids - check them out). He is playing the VERY difficult Shostakovich Cello Concerto #1. This is one I have attempted, and have yet to complete!

For credit: Please comment on a specific part of the video - do this by adding a time marker (example: 05:15) - and in your comment, you will use a vocabulary word in the proper context and connect it to the music you heard.
