Multicultarism

For this Discussion choose an ethnic group that has experienced historical trauma (genocide, ethnic conflict, or mass violence). For example: Native Americans, apartheid in South African, and traumatized refugee and immigrant populations, including Asian Americans and other ethnic groups.

Please respond to the following:

• Identify the ethnic group and trauma you have selected.
• Describe how you think this trauma has mentally, socially, and economically impacted the ethnic group you selected. Be sure to discuss the role of unresolved grief on the ethnic group you have chosen.
• Describe strategies you can take in your cross-cultural service delivery to address the effects of trauma and unresolved grief.
