Sales Plan Staffing and Recruiting
This week you will continue working on phase five of the Final Project. Use the template provided. Last week, you determined the size of the sales force, identified sales territories, and determined the most appropriate sales forecasting method. You also evaluated whether the company was using the most optimal territory design. In addition, you considered the advantages and disadvantages of the primary sales forecasting methods.
You will now determine resources required to recruit, select, and retain sales people. Discuss the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the sales position. Be sure to review concepts covered in Chapter 7 of Cron and Decarlo (2009) for guidance.
Remember that you will need to use research to support your project. Stay away from Wikipedia and other non-academic sources and instead use credible company sponsored websites or peer-reviewed sources provided by the Library. Your company's strategy should be 1–2 pages in length and must include a reference list. Citations and references must follow APA guidelines.
