Movie review

The case write-up based on the movie" Who Killed the Electric Car  "

The write-up is to about 3 single pages long and based on the format used in the individual assignment (background/problem statement, analysis, recommendation, justification).  Questions to help are posted as the assignment questions for Who Killed the Electric Car?  

The questions ask you to analyze the company (GM) and industry.  Please think of the situation leading up to 2006 (the time of the movie).  The movie takes place during about a decade before that (1996-2006).  Do your best to identify what you believe is the strategic issue at the time.  Then do the analysis and recommendations based on that.  For the analysis, use the information from the video if there is anything you believe relevant to those types of analyses.  If you believe the movie does not give enough information, you can generalize from what you believe you know about the company/industry or you can look for information online.  You do not have to do outside research but you can if you desire.  If you are trying to analyze the industry for Porter's Five Forces but do not believe the movie directly stated what you needed, you can try to infer the components from your own general understanding or smaller components from the movie.
