Module 7: Discussion Forum - HLS

Cite any disaster, incident, emergency you wish and critique how the  four phases of emergency management were handled. Focus will likely be  on response and recovery; however, you should critique all phases. The  event could be a tornado, a tsunami, a major transportation style crash,  a snowstorm (blizzard), a major crime scene (VA Tech., Sandy Hook), a  terror attack (Boston, Ft. Hood), etc. but may not be Hurricane Katrina  or 9/11 since we have already analyzed these two events. Briefly  summarize your findings and conclude with your own thoughts. Make your  response as succinct as possible. When responding to your colleagues, be  sure to discuss each other’s conclusions.
