Your essay will contain a Works Cited page with a minimum of ten sources. The research project requires that you examine a current issue, take a position concerning that issue, and argue your position with logical reasoning and sound evidence. Your ten-page research paper should include ten (minimum) different sources, a variety of citations (mostly quoted and some paraphrases), and must include at least one long quotation longer than five lines and no more than three long quotes. Each of your ten sources needs to show up somewhere in your paper. All papers use the MLA documentation format. Seventy-five percent (75%) of your sources must be accessed from the college library.
