Assignment 2: Foundations of Curriculum

In this module we have discussed the foundations of curriculum: history, social, and psychological. Each has a variety of factors that form the foundations of and influence curriculum. From your study in this module, your experience, and research discuss the following:

What do you believe to be the most important factors today that are influencing curriculum development?

How does learning theory influence curriculum development?

What societal forces influence curriculum development?

How has history affected the development of curriculum?

Write a 4–5-page paper in Microsoft Word format. Be sure to write from a scholarly perspective, using the current edition of APA for both style and citation. The paper should not exceed five pages and should include an additional page that lists your references. Remember to edit and proofread your document prior to submission.
