 Create a Masthead, Insert a Shape, Insert WordArt, Insert a Graphic, and  Group and Layer Objects As is a newsletter on children's dental health,  you prepare a colorful, graphic-rich masthead comprised of a  combination of various graphic objects. 

a.Open a new blank document. Save the document as w05cl Teeth_LastFirst

b. Display nonprinting characters. Press Enter twice, and then move to the beginning of the document

c.  Insert a Pentagon shape fin the Block Arrows section) at the top of the  document. Change the height to I and the width to 6.5 Change the shape  fill to Red. Select Top and Bottom text wrapping. Change the shape fill  to Gradient. Linear Diagonal - Top Right to Bottom Left (in the Dark  Variations section). Remove the shape outline, and apply a Reflection  shape effect of Tight Reflection, touching.

d.  Insert Word Art, selecting FilL. White, Outline­ Accent I, Shadow (first  row, fourth column). Type Active Kids. Change the text effect to  Transform, Slant Up (ninth row, first column the Warp section). Select  In Front of Test text wrapping. Ensure that the font in is Calibri and  the font size is 36. Position the Word Art object at the left side of  the pentagon shape. 

e, Create a second WordArt  object with the same specifications as the first, but type Healthy  Teeth. Position the WordArt object at the right side of the pentagon  shape. Drag the WordArt objects to the position shown in Figure 5.37 

f.  Insert an online picture of a tooth, similar to that shown in Figure  5.37, using Bing Image Search. You will add the skateboard image later.  Change the height  of the picture to I, and select In Front of Test  text wrapping. Click Remove Background in the Adjust group, and drag  handles around the graphic so that all of the graphic is visible in the  dashed frame. Click Keep Changes in the Close group on the  Background Removal tab. Position the tooth graphic approximately as  shown in Figure 5 37 

g. Insert an online picture  of a skateboard, similar to that shown in Figure 5.37, using Bing Image  Search Change the height of the picture to I Select In Front of Text  text wrapping. Remove background from the skateboard. Position the  skateboard graphic approximately as shown in Figure 5.37, although  the skateboard will slightly overlay the tooth 

h.  Select the tooth graphic. Click Bring Forward in the Arrange group.  Adjust the tooth so that it "rides" on the skateboard, as shown  in Figure 5.37 

I. Select the pentagon shape, and  simultaneously select the tooth, skateboard, and both WordArt objects.  Then group the selected objects. Change text wrapping for the grouped  objects to Top and Bottom. 

Create  Columns, Format Text, Insert Column Break, and Update Linked Object You  insert and format newsletter text in a two-column format You also make  several modifications to that text so that it is visu­ally appealing 

a.  Place the insertion point at the second blank paragraph mark below the  masthead. Insert text from w5c1 Teeth. Correct any spelling or word  usage errors. Apply 6 pt paragraph spacing after to all newsletter text,  and format the text in two columns.Change the font for all newsletter  text to Calibri 

b. Place the insertion point at  the first blank paragraph mark at the end of the newsletter on the  second page. Insert a Continuous section break. Select the  first numbered item on the first page, 1. Letting kids brush alone. Bold  the selection. Bold all other numbered items. 

c.  Press Enter after the first body paragraph, ending in (CDC). Navigate to  the data files and open w05c1Cavities.xlsx in Excel. Copy Al:C5. Paste  the selection in the newsletter at the location of the insertion point,  maintaining a link. 

d. Insert a column break  before the second numbered item on the first page. Minimize Excel and  update the link in the linked worksheet in the Word document.  Display  w05c1Cavities.xlsx. Click in cell C5, type 20%, and press  Enter. Close Excel without saving changes. 

e. Insert a Box red page border with 1 pt width. 

Insert  SmartArt, Insert a Text Box, Save as a PDF, Insert Drop Cap  To  illustrate the process from poor dental hygiene to dental prob­lems, you  insert a SmartArt object and format it attractively. 

a.  Place the insertion point after the fifth numbered item, after the word  performance. Insert a SmartArt object, selecting the Basic Chevron  Process. In the first arrow on the left, type Poor Dental Hygiene. In  the second, type Cavities, and in the third, type Unhappy Kids! 

b.  Select the Inset SmartArt style, and change the color to Colorful Range  - Accent Colors 4 to 5.  Adjust the height of the entire SmartArt  object to I. Adjust the width to 3. 

c. Insert a  column break before the sixth numbered item. Draw a text box at the  bottom of the second page. Adjust the height to 0. 5 and the width to 7.  Type A Publication of National Dental Health. Adjust the font size to  24, and center text in the text box. 

d. Apply a  shape fill of Blue, Accent I, Lighter 40%.  Apply a Shadow text effect,  selecting Offset Bottom. Position the text box at and absolute  horizontal setting of -0.5 to the right of Margin and an absolute  vertical setting of 1.3 below Paragraph. 

e. Format the first letter of the first body paragraph, beginning with You know as a dropped cap. 

f. Save the document as a PDF file with the same file name. 

g.  submit the following:
