Team Project

Topic: As a team (group of two to three students), pick three mechanisms of an antimicrobial drug (example: inhibition of cell wall synthesis). Thoroughly describe these three mechanisms and provide two examples of pharmaceuticals that utilize each mechanism.  Students will be assigned to groups in Week 6. It is strongly suggested that group members contact each other during week 6 to facilitate introductions and effective work during week 7.

Assignment Expectations:  

• Each slide should be self explanatory. Be sure to include a minimum of 50 words in the Presenter’s Note Page that describes the content of the slide (the title and literature cited slides are omitted from this requirement).

• Figures are important. I suggest using Google’s Image search to find relevant figures for your presentation. However, be sure to evaluate the quality (both for aesthetics and accuracy) and cite the source of the figure.
