Micro economics Current event Summary

Identify and summarize one recent (no older than 1 week) article that covers topics pertaining to microeconomics.  IMPORTANT! Make sure that the topic you choose is one in Microeconomics and not Macroeconomics. No credit will be awarded if that distinction is not clear. If unsure let me know or use the material in Chapter 1 of your textbook.

Your summary should be in the form of one paragraph of at least 200 words. Think of it as an attempt to explain the article to someone who has never taken a course in macroeconomics. Therefore you need to explain the jargon and concepts in plain terms. For example if an article mentions the possibility that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates in the near future you need to explain the reasons behind such a policy and how monetary policy is supposed to work. 

In order to receive full credit you need to:

1. provide the link to the article
2. summarize the article and specify at least two things that you learned from the article
3. formulate one question for the author of the article regarding something that you might not have understood  or that you would like to know more about.
