The "Performance Appraisal" process is intended to measures the degree to which an employee accomplishes work requirements. The performance evaluation process always has had mixed reviews from employees and managers.  In your experience with appraisals or based on your readings, describe three major characteristics in the process that make an excellent performance appraisal for an employee. Describe these characteristics. If you can and have had appraisals, describe what actually happens based on your own experiences.
