You will be graded not only for the quality of your posting but also for the level of your participation in this discussion. Your initial post is due by Wednesday at 11:59 P.M. (MT) of the week in which the discussion is assigned. A minimum of two (2) additional response posts are due by Sunday at 11:59 P.M. (MT). Participation is required on at least three days throughout the session. Participation includes your initial post and two additional response posts. These are minimum requirements. Discussion Prompt: Project Managers

Read Numbers 13:21-30. 

"But Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, ‘Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it’” (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version, 2001, Numbers 13:30). 

Read 1 Samuel 17:19-54.

“And David said, ‘The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine’” (1 Samuel 13:37).

What can we learn from these men of faith? What company leader wants a project manager who shrinks back? To be sure, there are often very challenging–even frightening–moments in projects. Do we face these situations with fear or faith? As project managers and leaders, how can we wisely manage risk while moving forward in faith? As you share, think about instances where you have been exposed to these types of situations and how you and others responded. Be sure to draw from this week's Biblical Perspective and apply wisdom from a biblical perspective.
