1. Identify a data source: you may use the following websites to access a data sets for your research proposal:

-The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES),

-the California Health Interview Survey data,

-Health, Information National Trends Survey data or

-the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey Emergency Department data. 

*If a student is using other sources of data, then you don’t have to access a public data file.
