Methods of Persuasion

Share your plan to utilize the Methods of Persuasion that we have explored to move your audience to your point of view in Persuasive Speech.  Use the information that you have read in the e-textbook Chapters 3, 7, 12, 15 and 16, along with the Audience Analysis data that you gathered for your Informative Speech (if using a related topic), to answer the following questions regarding how you will use the Methods of Persuasion to persuade your listeners:

1. How will you go about building your credibility with the listener?  (Why should we take your advice?)  (Ethos)
2. How will you use evidence to create "buy in?"  (Logos)
3.  What type of evidence will work best to support your main points?  (Logos)
4.  How will you attempt to use  reasoning to intrigue your listeners?  (Logos)
5. What will you do to appeal to the emotions of your listeners?  (Why should we care?) (Pathos)
