 That said, what might the senses, as informed by the materials of this course thus far, tell us about the black radical tradition? Utilizing at least one visual object and an auditory one, as well as the critical readings from the class, let this midterm be an opportunity to contemplate the black radical tradition through the sensory with the goal of affirming or troubling the “sense” of a black messiah.  invoked the black radical tradition as possibly having investments in the tension of the profane and the sacred, it is interesting to realize that much of what has been experienced this semester is reducible to the sense
