Using the Media Bias Chart , find an article two articles, one from a news source considered middle or balanced bias related to DEI and politics, education, or the workforce; the other from a news source on the left or the right; the further left or right, the better. After reading each article, summarize and analyze the article's content in your own words. Next, compare and contrast the level of bias you interpret between the articles.

Your summary and analysis should include

• Article name, source, date

• Link to the article

• A summary paragraph in your own words - 4 sentences minimum

• Who, What, When, Where, and Why

• What is the issue or event

• Who are the main players involved (e.g., organizations, politicians, states, employers)

• Include supporting details

• An analysis paragraph in your own words- 4 sentences minimum

• Evaluate the consequences of the content on personal and social welfare

• Explain the validity and reliability of the source 

• Description of bias detected, if any

• Use examples or quotations to discuss the bias

• Research other sides of the argument, if needed

• Potential effects of the issue on you, your family, employees, or citizens as relevant

• Compare and contrast bias between the two different news sources

• Did you detect higher levels of bias or mistruths?
