As a counterterrorism forensic specialist, you have been assigned the task of tracking and preventing the delivery of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) of unknown specificity to large events. Credible threats from a terrorist cell arise concerning an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that is directed at the stadium where 85,000 people are currently in attendance. Once the threat is confirmed, what course of action would you choose to take, and why? Do you think you would be able to deploy a direct energy weapon against the suspected target to protect the public? What do you think is our best strategy/line of defense for such attacks? Your journal entry must be at least 200 words in length. No references or citations are necessary.
