While looking at police power and discretion, let’s return to the question of whether it is OK to do the wrong thing for the right reason in the context of police interrogation.  Are there circumstances where deception is an ethically acceptable tactic to get a confession?  Give an example situation and describe then resolve the ethical dilemma. How does this relate to the “Law Enforcement Code of Ethics”?
