Think about a workplace issue, problem, or concern for your research project. Share your research question. 

The textbook or citations are not required for this post; however, citations and references are recommended with reasons to support your topic.

Research topic examples: Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction, Workplace Bias, Diversity and Inclusion, Gender Roles, an aging workforce in a 21st Century workplace. Other examples: women in the workplace, glass ceiling, social media, workplace ethics, leadership, emotional intelligence, work-life balance, productivity concerns...just to name a few; or a related topic in your workplace that seems worthy of research. 

After examining workplace concerns and issues, and reviewing scholarly and peer-reviewed articles from the South College online library to understand 21st century workplace issues and concerns; be sure to share why the topic may seem worthy of research.

For example, within a workplace environment of Company "ABC" an issue or concern of workplace bias, gender roles, diversity and inclusion or an aging workforce may exist.

The intent of this study is to gain an understanding of "IF" one or any of these variables exist within the workplace. Think of ways you may collect data and from whom (with employer permission) for this research project. 

The intent of this study is not to solve a problem, however, to simply examine IF a problem exists, (perhaps managerial concerns of discrimination of an aging workforce may be an issue within an organization). For this short five-week class, a recommendation is to only choose ONE or TWO variables since time is limited. 

I hope these examples are helpful. Again, these are only short examples of topics for consideration; however, during your research and workplace observations, you may think of other topics worthy of research. You will later conduct a survey in the MBA 5430 Final Capstone course to determine IF a problem exist.

Remember this is a five (5) Week course, and once a topic is approved; the same topic will must continue in the MBA 5430 Final Capstone course. Choose your topic carefully, since you may not change a topic after it has been approved by the Professor.
