Number 4 clarification:

_The object on the spring-mass is called a mass. It has a weight, which is calculated by taking the mass of the object and multiplying by the acceleration due to gravity, which is 32 ft/sec^2. To find the mass of the spring-mass, divide the weight 8 lbs by 32. So the mass of the spring-mass is 8/32=1/4.
