Students will learn to construct a scatter diagram, estimate visually the location of the best-fitting line, and compute the sample correlation coefficient. 

Read all the highlighted information on pp.141-157 as well as complete the suggested Study Guide exercises #1 (page 148), #2 (page149), and #3 (page 154-155).  

Submit your solutions to (section 4-1) problems #2, 4, 7, 8 & 13 (pages 158-159).
