M3A3 Prospectus Project Task IV
Draft of Goals and Sampling Sections of Prospectus
Your final prospectus project is due in Module 7. Considering the multivariate analysis design you plan to use in your prospectus, turn in a draft of the following sections:
- Goals: A one-page summary of specific goals and hypotheses for the study.
- Sampling and sample size: In one to two pages, describe your sample size and the sample. Address the following points:
- Who, how, and how many?
- How did you come to these decisions?
- How does your proposed sample size relate to the planned power?
In general, the sampling section should provide clear descriptions of your study’s sampling activities so they could be replicated. See The Dissertation Handbook for more details.
Present the draft paper in Microsoft Word document format. Name the file R7034_M3_A3_LastName_FirstInitial.doc and submit it to the Submissions Area by the due date assigned.
