Pay Discrepancies - From past business courses, you should know that the Board of Directors elects the President of public companies. The President then elects Vice Presidents, who elects those under them. The higher up the hierarchical ladder, the more pay and influence over the company. After reading the article and watching the video, how is top executive pay related to organizational strategies? Why are they paid big money to leave a company? Should they be paid big money to leave a company? Why or why not? Who makes the decision to terminate a top executive and are there any legal requirements to be followed? If so, what are they?
