On both sides of the peninsula that most of us live on, there are rivers. On one side is the York River, on the other side the James River is found -- both are fresh water rivers.
Question for discussion: If the peninsula is bounded on both sides by fresh water rivers, how could this area suffer from a drought, as it did from 2009 through 2015? (Hint: where does our fresh water come from?)
