You will need to post FIRST before you can view the posts of others. For this assignment:

1. a) Identify an item that you believe will make a good gift to foster the development of a baby or toddler under the age of 6. Include a link or picture of the item from the retailer's site. b) Use your textbook and other resources to identify developmental benefits of your gift choice and potential disadvantages (e.g., false developmental claims, safety risks, etc.). Reference the page number of the text about the respective developmental milestones.

2. Pose 2 critical thinking questions related to the content in Chapters 1-4 (each question should be about content from a different chapter). Page reference to the content is required for full credit. The question should generate discussion with your peers and be open-ended (more than asking for just a yes/no answer or giving a statistic). For example, " Based on what we've learned about pain perception, why do you think something like mindfulness can be effective for pain management? How do you manage physical pain?"

3. Respond to 2 of your peers with a thoughtful response, using critical thinking and integrating course-related content (must include page references to respective content in the textbook). Peer responses should be several sentences and more than just "good job."
