Local Cultural Attributes  

• In terms of your cross-cultural experiences, identify one specific culture represented in your location, and describe the characteristics of this culture that may contribute to excellence in the classroom.
• While determining how the cultural attributes may enhance instruction, describe how these attributes could be turned into instructional strategies. For instance, in the case of a language difference, students could be paired or grouped according to language differences and given exercises that exchange words in each language.
