Literature Review Guidelines
150 Points
The Literature Review portion will be added to your final paper. The Literature Review should be no shorter than 1 ½ pages of content, and no longer than 4 pages. The page count does not specifically include the Title Page and References page.
As for the References you select:
· You should not have more than two sources that are older than 2010-2022
· Your sources should range between 2010-2022 because they are more recent and updated information
· Foundational sources are sources that establish the issue has been present for a while (although, foundational sources are not required)
Literature Review formatting should be as follows:
· APA 7 compliant Title Page
· Introduction
· The introduction should be the introduction to your paper. The introduction should contain main ideas related to your topic and explain the purpose of the paper.
· Core Body
· The body of this paper should include the eight scholarly articles you have collected as citations.
· The literature review is a discussion of your topic and explains the articles you have selected and how they affect (what use they are to) your topic.
· Conclusion
· A wrap-up of all of the information – reiteration of the main topic and the point of the paper.
· APA 7 compliant References page
· This paper should be written from the third person perspective
Keep in mind: the intention of a Literature Review is to establish previously written articles by experts that have been peer reviewed. The Literature Review functions as the foundation to your paper. You should use at least eight scholarly articles in this part, but you should also use these articles in your paper as you further explain your research.
