Literature review

I want you all to do a little research on what exactly a Literature Review is (an example of relevant sources is in this week's folder, but do some searches on your own). After reviewing whatever sites and videos on the topic you fine, please respond, in your own words (don't cut and paste from a source) to the following:

What is the purpose of a Literature Review? 

What are the main components of a Lit Review? 

How should the Lit Review be developed when based on an Annotated Bibliography? 

And, briefly note what your sources were at the end of your post. I want to make sure everyone's clear on what exactly a Literature Review is, and that you are ready to start writing one. So please, respond to these three questions in posts at least 3 paragraphs/250 words long.
