 Overview and Prompt

Listen to Bob Dylan's "Working Man's Blues," Bruce Springsteen's "Youngstown,"  and Beyonce's "Formation"; explain how one poet/songwriter presents a view of social inequality.  How does each song illustrate that the economic conditions in the "rust belt" or impoverished areas often affects the ability of one segment of the population to achieve economic prosperity?  Choose one particular image in your song choice which symbolizes this plight.
