Submit a working draft of your Analysis of the Rhetorical Context essay to the discussion board. Your essay should be attached to your post as a Word document or a PDF so that the format holds.

Your final essay must be  at least 700-750 words in length and in  MLA FORMAT. For this assignment, you should submit a  complete working draft.

1. What is the thesis of the essay? Does the thesis take a clear stance on how effective the text-to-be-analyzed is? If the thesis is missing or weak, call the writer's attention to this. If the thesis is strong, comment specifically on what makes the thesis strong.

2. In its current state, does the essay address all aspects of the rhetorical situation according to assignment parameters? Identify a specific example of how the essay addresses  each aspect of the rhetorical context. You're looking for speaker, audience, message/ purpose, and medium of delivery. If something is missing, gently remind the writer to include it in the final version.

3. Identify one specific strength of this essay. Why do you think this is strong?

4. Identify one specific weakness of this essay. Why is this a weakness? What can be done to improve this weakness in a subsequent draft?
