 A child's ability to develop language is highly dependent on all other developmental areas: cognition, physical development, sensory development, motor development, oral motor development, social skills and psychosocial development.  Discuss how each developmental area can impact the development of language skills in a child.  Include a discussion of how deficits in any of those areas could cause a child to have a delay in language development. 

 Research shows a strong correlation between motor delays and delayed language development. Find one scholarly article that supports that theory.  Summarize the article and discuss what that research has to say about the correlation between motor skills and language development.  Include the proper APA citation for the article you are summarizing.
