LGBTQ+ Appreciation/Advocacy Letter

If you could write a letter to a business, school newspaper, politician, local leader, organization or group regarding LGBTQ+ issues, to whom would you write? Would you write the letter in praise of their stance and policies regarding LGBTQ issues or, conversely, would you write to raise awareness and advocate? You can write to anyone in the world but I do ask that they be a real person or business. 

This assignment will provide you the opportunity to write a 1-2 page, typed and professionally formatted letter to one of the above mentioned and take your stand! There are many templates for professional letters and I will accept any that are recognized professional styles. Remember to write this as a professional business letter and to follow proper formatting. Add the quote you are responding to.
