Lesson 1 A

First of all, you need to determine for Lesson One if you have some minor ailments or discomforts. Use the Remedy Finder app and input that information into the actual Remedy Finder application. It will determine what kind of remedies will take care of your ailment. Once you do that, make a copy or take a screenshot of the Remedy Finder app graph. 

Next, you're going to create a 1 slide PowerPoint that shows which of the remedies you actually took and how effective they were. If there were any contraindications, please be sure to include that. 

You're going to put that information into a PowerPoint slide. 

Next, you're going to create a transcript as if you were going to read it for a video. You do not need to include the slides in the video. All you need to do is go over the information that's in your PowerPoint slides.

Then go to a Microsoft Word document and include: 

1. The Remedy Finder app output (screenshot or copy). 

2. Your actual PowerPoint slides. 

3. The transcript for the video. 

Read through the information provided on the ABC Homeopathy ( https://abchomeopathy.com/go.php ) website carefully and fully. After inputting your information into the Remedy Finder App, you will get a recommended remedy. 

Use the remedy finder to treat your own minor ailment. 

Click on the Remedy Grid and save the screen. 

Copy the saved Remedy Grid to a Word Document and name it "Lesson 1a- Assignment- PART 1"

Then, Create and present a 2-minute video commercial on their chosen CAM remedy, based on the Remedy Grid Finder suggestion (from PART 1).

• Choose one of the items/products suggested by the Remedy Grid Finder and then make your video.

1. The commercial should be inviting enough to make the others want to try the product.
2. Please include how you took the remedy and its effectiveness.
3. The video should also address any side effects or contraindications.
4. Research the remedy and provide evidence to support its effectiveness.
   • Find/ use researched articles/books of EBP (Evidenced Based Practice).
   • Cite and reference your sources.

Follow this grading criteria: 

A very well description of how the remedy was taken was provided in the video.

Correctly and concisely states the effectiveness of the remedy.

The student mentions various side effects of the remedy in the video.

Able to provide 3 to 4 contraindications to the remedy.

The student provides numerous ways the remedy is effective via video.
