One example of a leader's role and the success or failure of his/her business would be Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. He believes high standards are teachable rather than intrinsic. He sets clear, realistic expectations. He also stays involved with the people you're serving. He says he believes focusing on what customers are saying is much more important for success than focusing on what competitors are doing. He has now built Amazon into a $1 trillion dollar company.
