Lack of management support for disaster recovery efforts create a gap in the ability to recover from a disaster. Often, management doesn't see the value in having redundant hardware and environments to support disaster recovery. They don't believe anything will happen to their company and therefore, don't want to spend the money to be ready in case something actually does happen.

 How would you convince management on the need to support disaster recovery?
