Kantian Deontology
Discussion Question
Give a specific, real-life example (not a "what if" or purely speculative one) of an action which would support Kant's idea that one can do the right thing for the wrong reason. Is it also possible to do the wrong thing for the right reason, according to Kant? If so, give a specific and, again, plausible or real-world example. If not, say why not.
