Journal - Williams
One of the themes from "The Red Wheelbarrow" by Williams Carlos Williams is finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, meaning everyday items can be beautiful and full of worth, such as the red wheelbarrow is to the speaker of the poem. So much depends on that one yard implement. And thus, the reader is supposed to think about everyday things in life that we often overlook, but we should really value! Stop and smell the roses, so to speak.
