Journal Prompt

Looking at the first three chapters of Capote's novel, note the characters who are introduced. In 150-200 words, respond to the questions: Who among the introduced characters stands out to you? What does make this character stand out, and how would you describe him/her? Give specific examples from the novel's text to illustrate your view. You do not need to focus on Joel, the protagonist, but comment on any character who got your special attention.
