John W Gardner ON LEADERSHIP

profilegharibeco

JEs are YOUR work, structured around what you liked, what you did not like, what you learned, and your major 'takeaway' from the lesson in question.  You do NOT have to address lesson objectives (LOs) in the JE -- unless you want to.  No need to document.  No quotations.  Your ideas.

Each entry is a maximum of 2-SS pages, 12-pt. font.  Go over 2-pages and you fail the entry.

Format:

Part One:  What did you like about the (topic)?  What struck you as interesting? Why did the (topic) stimulate positive emotion?

Part Two:  What did you not like about the (topic)?  Why did the (topic) stimulate negative emotion?

Part Three:  What did you learn?  Summarize your major take-aways and intellectual sound bites.

Bottom Line:  A one sentence “wham-bang thank-you-ma’am” synopsis of what you will take away from the lesson regarding what you learned.
