Week 7 Case Study Paper (Signature Assignment)
Alex
During your newborn rounds, you examine Alex, a one-day-old infant who is set to go home

prenatal care until she was 4 months pregnant.
1. What should you tell Alex’s mother about the sacral pit?
2. What should your examination focus on? What abnormal clinical findings might be present?
3. What type of follow-up or testing will Alex need?
