Modus ponens

[P1] If roses are red, then some flowers have colors

[P2] Roses are red

Therefore:

[C] Some flowers have colors

Modus Tollens

[P1] If it’s a holiday, then school is closed

[P2] School is not closed

Therefore:

[C] It’s not a holiday
